Introduction

Cyrte Investments is an innovative Investment Boutique that focuses on generating absolute returns on investment. To achieve this we apply a focused long-term approach. On the basis of our unique philosophy, we select companies going through fundamental changes which will result in new value creation.

The majority of our investments are in the telecom, media and technology (TMT) sectors. We began by investing in the TMT sector in developed markets of Europe and the Unites States and, later, leveraged our TMT sector knowledge to the emerging markets in Latin America and Africa. In these regions we focus on countries with high re-rating potential, and we invest in companies that are well positioned for future growth.

Cyrte uses funds, special purpose vehicles (SPVs) and private investments in public entities (PIPEs) to invest in both public and private companies. We currently have three active thematic funds, two dedicated to listed equity investments and one for both listed and private equity investments. We also have a number of special purpose vehicles for both listed and private equity investments.
