Execution

At Cyrte we have created a two-tiered approach to investments that allows us to operate throughout the entire Innovation Cycle. Both in the installation phase, that is equity-value driven, and in the deployment phase, that is more enterprise-value driven.

The first tier focuses on thematic funds, such as our flagship fund on the impact of TMT-innovation and our Africa fund which invests in TMT innovation at the lower end of the market. 

The second tier aims to add value through an active shareholder approach to companies with unique assets by taking strategic, often key-positions therein. By setting up Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) and Private Investments in Public Entities (PIPEs), Cyrte services both institutional and strategic investors as well as the investees in a strategic transition. As a result, Cyrte is able to maximize returns for stakeholders on both sides of the table.
